Tell Meet the Press: We want Gregory not Russert

I was pleased to see David Gregory on Meet the Press today. Gregory has shown he is not afraid of the administration and will ask tough questions with follow up.
I wrote an email to Meet the Press from their web page www.nbc.com saying it was time for Russert to go. He was good in his day but now is too chummy with the powers that be.
It wouldn't hurt for NBC to get a few hundred emails stating that Gregory would be a great replacement for Russert.

Goal: Inform people where and when to early vote.
Early voting in Nevada: In Clark County (greater Las Vegas) there are 16 early voting locations. From October 16-29, eight locations are open 7 days a week in the major malls while another 8 move around to various neighborhoods, most are in grocery stores or libraries.

Looks like we have a Katherine Harris wannabe in Vegas. The above article talks about a judge who turned down a chance to reopen registration due to GOP registrars who tore up Democratic forms. She asked to two parties to work up a plan but when they were ready to present it to her she said the case was closed. Did Rove make some phone calls?
We have a wonderful local reporter, George Knapp, who is a great old time investigator. He even did some work into Area 51 which you can see in numerous documentaries on History Channel, Discovery and so forth.

Zogby's poll has Nevada at a statistical tie, today, so this story is big for our 5 electoral votes.
The local Las Vegas NBC affiliate opened their 6:00 broadcast with this very important story to Nevada:
The Bush administration has reversed itself on a promise that President Bush had made to Nevada on his last visit.

Late Friday night, I got a phone call from my apolitical co-worker, she was all excited because she and her boyfriend were off to register to vote.
Seems the news has been all a-buzz with stories that it was the last day to register (there is a 10 day extension but you have to go to the county courthouse).
All the malls in town had a set up for voter registration until 9 p.m.

I heard this speech from our Dear Leader today and I couldn't quite make out all the words so I filled in the parts I couldn't hear.
We've got hard work to do. And it's tough, and it's hard. I know it's hard. The Republicans over there cannot defeat our Kossack army. The only tool they've got is the ability to shake our will. We care for human rights and human dignity. Every life matters to the Kossacks. And therefore, when we see outrages of the day on our screens, we cry and we weep. And the terrorist Republicans know that. They know we've got a conscience. And we know they don't have a conscience. We must not allow them to shake our will. It's important that we succeed. It's important for our security and for the peace of the world that we defeat the terrorist Republicans now. This is a central, central front in the war on the media and the Republicans.

All because of Gallup's phony poll.
We need RAPID RESPONSE TEAM, STAT!
The USA Today matrix showed very clearly that (duh) that when you poll too many Republicans - Kerry is losing!
Obviously no matter how far Kerry is ahead they can just adjust the number of Republicans in the poll until it shows Bush ahead.
This constant barrage on every news outlet is having a demoralizing effect on our people!
Please, Please, Help! Get your spin in order!
Focus Group on C-Span Now - Simple Minded Voters

If you have a strong stomach, I highly recommend C-Span at 4:00 eastern time. Peer into the
minds(?) of your average uninformed voters.
Watch this focus group and then think about how Kerry and our Democratic party should present itself to the public, many of which can't begin to understand anything more complicated than Fear Factor.
I passionately love Dailykos but when a lot of us say - "Here's what Kerry should do..." many are thinking of what would impress a kossack. But when you see some of these focus groups, you've got to wonder just how simplistic a candidate must get.
Warning: you may become suicidal after watching the confused minds of your average voter.
