Fuck the "Reality Based Community"
Tue May 30, 2006 at 05:11:58 PM PDT
Sadly enough, I'm a flaming liberal...but I just had to say it.
I want UNIVERSAL Health Care.
I want a Living Wage.
I want gay marriage.
I want a woman to have a choice.
I want the military industrial complex put to rest.
I want the "War on Drugs" ended immediately.
I want a concentrated effort to get off oil.
I want a revamp of the Prison-Industrial complex.
I want to sign the Kyoto treaty.
I want to stick to the Geneva Conventions.
I want equally funded public schools.
I don't want to be spied on.
Oh, one more thing...
I want 9/11 to be fully investigated.
The question thus becomes...what do the "Reality Based Community" bloggers think about the official story? Your silence wont cut it anymore.
Scholars for 9/11 Truth - Official Petition
Thu Mar 09, 2006 at 01:48:03 PM PDT
Since
75% of respondents to this poll on dkos believes either the NeoCons, or the NeoCons working in collaboration with al Qaeda, had planned and carried out 9/11, I thought that a lot people here would like to
sign this.
Scholars Call for Release of 9/11 Information
1. Immediate...release of the video tape seized by FBI agents minutes after the Pentagon hit, from the fuel service station near the Pentagon, as well as any other videotape which shows the 9/11 strike on the Pentagon.
..
2. Immediate release of 6,899 photographs and 6,977 segments of video footage held by NIST, largely from private photographers, regarding the collapses of WTC buildings on 9/11/2001 (NIST, 2005, p. 81).
They're hoping to get 10,000+ signatures, so go sign it and spread it around if this your cup of tea.
POLL :: 9/11 Conspiricy or Not?
Sat Feb 25, 2006 at 12:40:11 PM PDT
Please Recommend this so we can get the most accurate results possible.
Lately, there has been lots of discussion about 9/11 here, so I thought it would be helpful to get a good measure of where this community stands on the events of 9/11.
There was a poll two days ago about this in which 56% said either the NeoCons, or the NeoCons working in collaboration with al Qaeda, had planned and carried out 9/11. But only 175 people voted in it. Lets see if we can get a larger sample size.
Lets see where this community stands (Thanks to fbb for the poll)
Impending Nuclear 9/11?

Check out this timeline that was compiled (after the jump).
I know most aren't going to take this seriously. I am praying that it isn't either. But I ask that you at least take a look at it, and maybe even follow up on the links.
Because the past keeps repeating itself until we change our behavior, this timeline is scary. It eerilly resembles what happend on both 9/11 and 7/7 (london bombings). In all three cases, the governments ran/running terrorist "exercies" that were almost identical to the actual events.

Why Soc. Sec. Now?
Wed Mar 02, 2005 at 04:48:47 PM PDT
I've really been wondering about this. Why would Bush want to put his Republican congressmen in jeopardy before the '06 elections. Was he trying to do it early so then it would be forgoten a year and half from now? But now they say they might have to wait until next year. I really don't understand their strategy.
Kerry Bumper Stickers
Wed Jun 30, 2004 at 07:11:20 PM PDT
On my way to work today, I saw a "John Kerry for President" bumper sticker. My first thought when I saw the sticker was, "Huh, that guy must want Kerry to win." I see a few of them here and there, but not nearly as many as you would think when you live in Santa Cruz, Ca. Usually people have ABB and Dean stickers, but not Kerry.
Everyone's been so concerned with anti-bush, and not pro-Kerry, I think we all should take the lead and sport a John Kerry bumper sticker. Six months ago, I never would have put a Kerry sticker on my car (Kucinich was my man!), but the times have changed.
Kerry's lacking legitamacy right now, mainly because not many have gotten to know him. I thought that if everyone who's planning on voting Kerry this Novemeber put up a bumper sticker, that way people in your community begin to see that there are people who support Kerry, not just the anti-thesis to Bush.
